SUMMARY OF KEY WINS

This contract is a historic win for UNTF.

SALARY INCREASES

Everyone will receive at least a 3.5% raise in year one. This raise is not tied to merit.

MINIMUM SALARIES

Minimum salaries substantially increased, including a new minimum of $55,000 for assistant professors.

ONLINE TEACHING

In many cases, online teaching will be covered by the contract.

CAREER PATHWAYS

At every rank, promotion is an option.

JOB SECURITY

Designation B appointments will be five-year rolling contracts.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW

Teaching-focused faculty will be evaluated on more than student evaluations (SIRS).
